Perth Eye Hospital has launched several social media channels to support and enrich the way it communicates its market-leading position as the ‘specialist in eyes’ in Western Australia.
CEO Andrea LeGuier said the new Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Plus pages would complement the exceptional work already done by staff and surgeons to help patients feel at ease before, during and after surgery.
“Our social media channels will be the place to find the latest news from Perth Eye Hospital, get to know our dedicated surgeons and staff, learn more about our charity partners and share industry developments,” Ms LeGuier said.
From tips on what to wear, where to park and how to get home safely after a procedure, the Facebook page would also include valuable patient education on the range of eye procedures available at the hospital, she added.
Meanwhile, the Instagram account will showcase events, charity work and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the hospital and the Google listing provides informative maps, directions and patient reviews.
“We’ve always known that Perth Eye Hospital is the best venue to have eye surgery in Western Australia and look forward to sharing our story with even more people through our social media channels,” Ms LeGuier said.
